Greg has been employed by Group Training Employment since April 2000, originally as a Field Officer mainly dealing within the construction industry. Greg brings extensive knowledge and experience to the group training sector as the General Manager of GTE.
Tash Attiwill
Finance Manager
Tash manages everything Finance and Accounting and uses her 20 years’ experience in this field to manage all of our budgets and expenditures as well as much more. She is also 2IC of GTE and manages the Administration Team.
Charlie Matthews
WHS & Compliance Officer
Charlie has 13 years’ experience as a GTE Field Officer providing advice and assistance to Hosts and Apprentices across the entire South East region and in particular servicing Millicent, the Southern Ports and the Upper South East Regions. Prior to joining the team at GTE Charlie worked locally within the timber and engineering industries for over 11 years as a Fitter & Turner after completing his apprenticeship in 2000.
Andrew Cameron
Field Operations Manager
Andrew has over 40 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic and during this time he has been involved within many aspects of the automotive industry. Andrew looks after all of our automotive apprentices and trainees whilst also managing the GTE Field Team.
Luke McLaughlin
Field Officer
Luke has 20 years of experience in management, recruitment, logistics, and sales. He began his career with a decade in the timber mill industry, also has 4 years of experience in labour hire, overseeing operations in regional South Australia. Luke also has 10 years of experience as a field officer with Group Training Employment, specializing in apprenticeships and traineeships. His approach to workforce management is down-to-earth and practical, shaped by years of hands-on experience.
Kyle Gleed
Field Officer
Kyle’s experience spreads across several industries, with over 10 years in Retail and Hospitality as well as some years within Youth Work and the Employment Industry. Kyle covers both Millicent and Mt. Gambier specialising in Aged Care, Administration, Education Support, Early Childhood Education, Painting & Decorating, Engineering & Civil Construction. Kyle also helps manage our social media pages and website.
Rosie French
Field Officer
Rosie studied and worked as a qualified Veterinary Nurse for over 10 years before a transition to working with youth in the employment industry prior to coming to GTE. Rosie has also worked in the Beauty Industry and is a passionate lover of native wildlife, being involved with Mount Gambier Wildlife Rescue as a carer. She looks after majority of our Administration, Retail, Hospitality, Agriculture, Horticulture and Beauty trainees along with our apprentice Hairdressers and Cabinet Makers. Rosie also helps manage our social media pages.
Ivan Stuchbery
Field Officer
Ivan has over 13 years experience in Safety and Training and over 25 years experience in the Meat Industry. Ivan is based in Naracoorte and also covers the surrounding areas including Penola, Kingston, Robe, Bordertown and Keith. He has a good understanding of having the right people for the right jobs and ensures his apprentices/trainees have the right tools to be successful.
Andrew Norman
Field Officer
Andrew began his career as an apprentice auto electrician where he spent 22 years in the automotive industry. He enjoyed learning as a technician and growing his knowledge to move into departmental management working with many apprentices over the years. Andrew has brought his experience to GTE to help grow and expand apprenticeship and traineeship options into the Forestry industry.
Sam Batty
Field Officer
Sam worked in the hospitality industry as a chef for 8 years, before moving into Dairy manufacturing at the Mil Lel Cheese Factory for 12 years. Sam now looks after construction industry apprentices at GTE, including Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling and Engineering. Outside of work, you might find him out on the tennis court, snooker tables or the soccer pitch, where he’s coached and managed youth sports for the past 8 years.
Kimberly Mills
Administration Team Leader
Kimberly commenced with GTE as our clerical trainee in 2005 and has progressed to now manage the front office/reception area. Kimberly can assist you with all your general enquiries.
Angela Fleming
Administration Team Leader
Angela oversees all of our Administration team and has been working within the Finance/Banking industry since 2001. She is a vital part of our team taking on several tasks such as payroll, processing claims and handling general enquiries.
Chrystal Lock
Administration Officer
Chrystal works within our finance department and has been working in the industry since 2009. She does a great job of paying all of our invoices, processing purchase orders and liasing with our host employers and training providers. Chrystal also assists with posting content to our social media pages.
Maddi Stephens
Payroll Officer
Maddi started out as a trainee with GTE back in 2014 and once completed, she jumped straight into our payroll department. Since then she's been dealing with payroll, hire rates, RTO fees and other government incentives in relation to apprentices and trainees.
Rhi Sturges
Payroll Officer
Rhi completed a traineeship with GTE back in 2015 and was then kept on to work within our Accounts department. Not long after she moved into our payroll department where she deals with not just payroll tasks but also hire rates, RTO fees and copious amounts of data management.
Cindy Walker
Field Administration Officer
Cindy came to GTE in 2019 with 30+ years’ experience in Administration which she puts into practice assisting the Field Team with trade school dates, job applications and other administration duties.
Alison Cutting
Executive Assistant
Alison came to GTE in mid 2023 as Executive Assistant and provides administration support to Greg Megaw and the GTE Board. This has allowed Greg more time to manage the business and its evolving new opportunities. Alison has gained 40 years administration experience covering management and employee support, organising business events, communications and has been a general ‘go to’ to help you find a solution to your problem which she utilises in her role. She is always looking for improvement opportunities and willing to give assistance wherever needed.
Deb Waye
Administration Officer
Deb has over 38 years experience in administration within the timber industry and has been with GTE for over 4 years. She assists GTE with all administrative duties and often jumps in and helps our payroll team as well as anyone else who needs her.
Maddie Sage
Administration Officer
Maddie (Sage) started out at GTE as the trainee in 2021 for 12 months. She returned in September 2023 to the admin team, and is learning payroll, assisting with weekly payroll and payroll queries, as well as general admin. She is completing a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Professional & Creative Writing and Politics, and works in a casual role as much as she can around her uni hours.
Imogen Horbury
Administration Trainee
Imogen graduated Year 12 at Mount Gambier High School in 2023 and became Administration Trainee with GTE in November 2023. She takes care of answering phone calls, greeting clients, actioning paperwork for upcoming apprentices and trainees and other general tasks.
